The LockScreenNotes Developer (the "Developer") respects the privacy of users of the iOS application "LockScreenNotes" (the "App") and is committed to protecting personal information. This Privacy Policy (the "Policy") explains how we collect, use, and manage information in the App.

1. Basic Policy

The Developer does not collect any personally identifiable information such as names, email addresses, or phone numbers.

2. Information We Collect

2.1 Note Data

The content of notes created in the App is stored only in the user's device's local storage. It is not transmitted to or stored on our servers.

2.2 Usage Data

To improve and enhance the quality of the App, we collect the following anonymous usage data:

Information Collected:

• App launch counts
• Screen transition information (which screens were viewed)
• Feature usage information (which buttons were tapped, which features were used)
• Tutorial progress
• Note design and app icon selections
• Basic device information (OS version, device model, etc.)

Collection Method: We use a third-party analytics service. The collected data is associated with an anonymous random ID automatically generated by the analytics service and cannot identify individuals.

Data Storage: Collected data is stored on the servers of the third-party analytics service provider and managed in accordance with their privacy policy.

2.3 Device Tokens

To provide the App's Live Activity feature (displaying notes on the lock screen), we collect the following technical information:

Information Collected:

• Anonymous user ID generated within the app
• Device token issued by Apple's notification service
• Live Activity ID

Purpose of Collection: This information is necessary to deliver notifications for starting and updating Live Activity.

Data Storage: This information is stored on the servers of a third-party notification delivery service provider and managed in accordance with their privacy policy.

Important: Device tokens are technical identifiers used to identify a specific app on a specific device and cannot identify individuals by themselves.

3. Purpose of Using Information

We use the collected information only for the following purposes:

1. Providing App features (displaying Live Activity)
2. Improving and enhancing the App's quality
3. Analyzing usage patterns
4. Detecting and fixing bugs

4. Providing Information to Third Parties

4.1 Regular Third-Party Provision

To provide and improve the App's features, we use third-party services for the following purposes:

• Analysis of usage data
• Provision of Live Activity features

We do not provide information to any third parties other than these.

4.2 Disclosure Based on Laws

We may provide information to the minimum extent necessary only when there is a disclosure request based on laws. However, the information we collect and manage is extremely limited, and the scope of what we can practically respond to is limited.

5. Information Management and Protection

5.1 Data Retention Period

• Note Data: Stored on the device until the user deletes the app
• Usage Data: Subject to the data retention policy of the analytics service provider
• Device Tokens: Deleted when the user deletes the app or after a certain period of inactivity

5.2 Security

We properly manage collected information and implement reasonable security measures to prevent unauthorized access, loss, destruction, alteration, and leakage. However, please understand that information transmission over the Internet is not completely secure.

6. Data Deletion

Since the App does not collect personally identifiable information, we cannot delete data for specific users individually.

However, data can be deleted by the following methods:

• Note Data: Deleting the app will remove note data from the device
• Device Tokens: Deleting the app will automatically invalidate device tokens stored on the server

7. Cookies and Tracking Technologies

The App does not use cookies or other tracking technologies.

8. Users Under 13 Years of Age

The App can be used by users under 13 years of age. We do not collect personally identifiable information from any users, including those under 13 years of age.

9. Links to External Services

The App may contain links to external websites or services (such as Instagram, email, etc.). These external services have their own privacy policies, and the Developer is not responsible for the privacy practices of external services.

10. Changes to Privacy Policy

The Developer may change this Policy as necessary. The revised Privacy Policy shall become effective at the time it is announced within the App or by the method designated by the Developer. In the event of significant changes, we will notify you appropriately through in-app notifications or other means.
